I used this craft for a lesson I was teaching my grandchildren during Thanksgiving week. We did the story of the ten lepers being healed by Jesus and only one came back to give Him thanks. We also talked about all the things we are blessed to have and I showed them pictures of others who aren’t as fortunate as we are. They each told me things they were thankful for to write on the turkey feathers. It was a simple yet good lesson during this holiday season.
