There are several creative ways to bring this project to life. You can simply color or paint it, or get a bit more playful by using dot markers, finger painting, or even Q-tips.
One of the most enjoyable methods, though, is using tissue or construction paper.
Start by cutting red construction paper into small squares, about half an inch on each side—no need for precision.
Then, glue the squares onto the apple, arranging them however you like.
For the leaf, you can use green squares.
Color the stem, if desired.
